sMs offers a range of classes and tuition options to cater to the complete beginner through to an advanced sewist working on a particular project.
Complete beginners should choose either the the ‘Introductory sewing class’ or ‘private sewing tuition’
Confident beginners to Intermediate sewists should choice either the ‘sewing convert class’ or ‘private sewing tuition’.
Advanced Sewists wanting to work on a particular project should choose ‘private tuition’

The group sewing class sessions run for 3 hours and are booked in advance for 4 weeks. Most students will be able to complete 1-2 projects in this time depending on their current skill level and project complexity.
A private sewing tuition runs for a minimum of 2 hours with the option to increase the duration of time.

The group classes have a maximum of 6 students to maintain an intimate learning environment and to allow space for individualised tuition. A small group class also allows for lessons to be more cost effective.
Private Sewing tuition is one to one with Nyssa.

The group sewing classes are held in the Aldinga Institute Hall.
Private sewing tuition is held at you place of residence.

Yes, for all sewing class options you will need to provide your own sewing machine and basic sewing kit.
Working with your own equipment means your will develop independence with your sewing practice quicker.
